It’s crazy how different kids can be.
I am still trying to figure out my toddler. She is not interested in the activities I do with her, because it’s what I used to do with Ali and they don’t like the same things!
She is hands on and loves physical activity. Hand her a ball or a scooter and she’s off. Ali was not interested, infact he learned how to scooter quite late at 3 and a half years old.
It’s not just that though, she is also very independent and doesn’t want me involved in whatever it is she is trying to conquer. I feel weird sitting on the bench in the park, until I go over to her and she’ll just carry on by herself… or push my hand if I try to help her.
I guess we can learn a thing or two by just observing our children. I love that she I more into sports and physical activity, but that’s a lot harder to provide for her in a little flat and a freezing outdoor, with a newborn! Poor middle child, I really want to make sure she doesn’t become the forgotten middle child.
Has she already become that?! is that why she’s so independent! oh dear I wonder how much we actually have control over as parents.
